Mediterranean Breeze is a family-owned licensed restaurant and shisha lounge on a mission to introduce South Australians to the true taste and culture of the Middle East, incorporating recipes that have been passed down through generations complemented by our welcoming and beautiful atmosphere.
Our restaurant is designed around the idea of bringing people together through food and traditions. Coming from a family that was born in Babylon, Iraq and whose roots, traditions, and recipes could be traced back to the times of Babylonia and the Mesopotamia, then resided all over the Middle East and from there to the United States and Australia, we know how to make everyone feel welcomed!
And like we say in Arabic: (( Ahlan wa Sahlan)) which shortly translates to “welcome”, but the actual meaning is a lot more than that… (Ahlan) means family and (sahlan) means valley/land or home, so what we are actually saying is our place is your home and our family is yours!. This is one of the things we most love and admire about our heritage: when you are in our home, you are treated like a family, not an outsider!
